TFTTF 200th episode giveaway

The moment has come. Episode 200 of our beloved digital photography related podcast is out in the wild, in its full video glory. And to honor the event I've made a new special edition of the now legendary TFTTF mug:

I hope it says something about the great worldwide community I think TFTTF listeners form. The mug comes in two different sizes and it's available for sale at my deviantART shop.

And you have the chance to win one of those!

I wanted to thank all the people that bought TFTTF mugs in the past, and specially those who had fun with them, and took cool pictures. In fact, earnings coming from that help me to finally buy a proper digital camera, which I used to take this very photo:

* The photo shows an image overlay over the actual smaller mug model.

As a result, I'll be giving away one 325 ml mug, that looks like that above. Here's how to participate:
  1. Take a picture of your TFTTF mug, whether it's the classic one, the 100th episode limited edition or the new one doesn't matter.

  2. Upload it to Flickr.

  3. Label your photo with the roamingtfttfmug tag.
That's it. Easy as 1, 2, 3. You have until June 30, midnight. With the last bell, the draw closes. I'll randomly choose one from all the correctly tagged photos and that would declare the winner. Several people already took awesome photos from all around the world!

ONE LAST IMPORTANT NOTE: As I live in Argentina (yes down there) shipping is pretty expensive to anywhere, so the mug will be shipped from dA itself, as a result, to participate on the contest you must live on a country dA delivers to. Please check the list if in doubt.

Featured in Shift Japan

I can't believe how I forgot about this. Back in December I was contacted by Gisella Lifchitz who writes for Shift, an E-zine from Japan, published in both english and japanese. She found my/this website by chance, and wanted to make me an interview. WTF? Me? Oh, nice. So some time later I met her at a cafe here in Buenos Aires and chat for more than an hour about lots of things. It was weird to talk about myself, but at the same time a nice ego boost and one of those small signs you're on the right track.

So thank you Gisella for your interest and the things you say there!

You can read the interview online here.

UPDATE: It seems the folks at Shift are under site redesign, I've found this link that seems to work while the previous one don't. Good luck!

Danke Ehrensenf!

lady from ehrensenf
Earlier today I had one of those random weird moments you get from time to time by the marvels of the internet. My friend Peter from the great german Lemotox podcast told me he was watching Germany's best known web tv when he saw me being featured (I'm at 2' aprox). Well, I can't tell you I understand what she said, but I suppose it was something great because I'm seeing now several visitors coming here for the first time. What's even better is that they choose a very special piece to feature, the tragic story of John and Betty.
Strange enough, it's been 5 days since I got back home from Germany itself, and this has nothing to do with that! Man life is a bit crazy sometimes.
So thanks for your interest, thanks Peter for discover it, and special thanks to the people at Ehrensenf for the mention!
