First drawing inspired by a recent list of "anglosaxonisms" I've been writing down together with Leo, a kind of specialist on the matter.

burning lemon juice

- What is that? Your problems depicted in a metaphorical and graphical way?
- No, it's my friend Ruben.

That happens when you're trying to call somebody by phone and they don't pick up. You have some paper nearby and the brain does, well, stuff like this. I also had the idea of painting it with the juice of a cut lemon that was around and they make it appear as magic by heating it up over the stove. Oh invisible ink childhood messages!

Latke and son

Latke and son sketch
This is a sketch I made some days ago by the afternoon. You can see Latke who is an adult bacteria talking ot his son about the truths of life while sitting in the low front of a supermarket's car. I know the scale isn't quite there, but consider it an artistic license.

our cup of tea

The children illustrators group at deviantART have an assigment this month called "cup of tea". I made this drawing on the Moleskine sketchbook I bought in the Art Gallery of NSW with my trusty black birome:

Then after a bit of scanning and photoshoppin' with the wacom it ended up looking like this:

You can click on it and see it bigger at dA, this is what I wrote about it:

For those couples out there that sometimes feel everybody else is not their cup of tea.
For those who managed to get their own cup of tea to be happy in.
For those who chosed having less room and more hugs.
