Winamp forgets my playlist

Winamp resets my playlist window and it's getting annoying. Every time I start it I get the same set of songs on my playlist. The library remembers the last search, the songs on the recently played items are kept, but not the playlist. I can't even identify why those songs, the selection doesn't make sense either. I have only two additional plugins (cover display and ac3) but I've tried without them and it's the same. I even made a full uninstall + cleaning of the folders and the problem seemed to be solved, but only for a few days, later it reappeared. Any clues? Is it a known bug?

UPDATE 1 My problem is similar to this one reported on the Winamp's forum, with the exception that to me happens even if I normally close Winamp.

UPDATE 2 It seems I've found a workaround. On Winamp's program folder there are two playlist files named "Winamp.m3u8" and "Winamp.m3u" that seems to be the place where it saves the last used playlist on close. If you manually delete it it forces Winamp to start from scratch, apparently. I've tried it and after four consecutive tests and closings everything works fine. Let's see how much it lasts.

the lucky candidate

I was watching the news while having lunch and there was one about a candidate for mayor in a small town here, that was elected this morning by tossing a coin. It seems there were two opposing parties with equal number of votes, so they called a woman that was just passing by in the street and asked her to flip the coin.
I had some papers and a pen nearby so I carelessly sketched the elected candidate, and here he is. Good luck!

Might

This is Jean Reno. His mother named him after a known french actor she likes. The last name comes with the family, btw. He's now all grown-up and the mighty CEO of the forest. The big force behind the trees. The puppeteer. The godfather.

Might for Illustration Friday.

TFTTF's Christmas Advent Calendar

Earlier today started the advent calendar at the Tips From The Top Floor podcast. I'm doing 24 drawings to illustrate each daily "door" of the calendar, and go along with the short useful tips on photography Christoph is giving there. You can see and listen to the first one here.

Probably only noticed by my countrymen, but there's a subtle homage to Liniers on the dwarves' hats.

Cheese is leaving

Old random-ish drawing scanned I wonder why. Now posted because it's very bizarre.
