Terrorism
I made this one a while ago. Never fully completed it. I made it thinking about terrorism. I guess it depends on the viewer to think who is the terrorist here. But my mind is close to this drawing.
And as I think an important feature to be considered a monster is to cause fear, here is mine for Illustration Friday. A little red terrorist riding hood. Some people might think they are small and weak. But they can cause a lot of death. It's not always only the wolf who's dangerous, but if he didn't attack in the first place, the girl wouldn't probably even need a gun. Oh the eternal debate about counter-terrorism...
Great line work on the wolf's hair. I like the proportions, too.
Great illo. with first glance and without reading what you you wrote.. I thought about who the monster is and how sometimes we assume the monster would have to be the big scary looking one. This drawing says a lot about society. Very good illo. Very strong piece!

too good illus.! really. i already saw the sketch in the Ideas Calendar 2006 you offered me.. i love this wolf, and how simply the lil red riding hood is hanging on the gun in front of him. it seems i received my DA package yesterday, i just need time to go to the post office to have it. i guess soon you will have your package too :)

thanks ju, i changed the site's some weeks ago, and still some parts are not ready. i have to change each illustration page by hand, so to speak, and it takes time!
I love twists on fairy tales.. this is a great one..cute and edgy at the same time. Off to check out the rest of your stuff!
