The Sidewalks Project
I had some idea a few weeks/days ago while walking somehow bored and enjoying the subtle sunshine a peaceful sunday midnoon on my way to the bakery store. I had my jb1 with me, so I took several pics of the sidewalks I encountered on my path. I posted the result (which I liked very much btw) to the tfttf's forum. I made an almost 4x4 mosaic with them:

Fellow users at the forum seemed to like the idea, so they made their own mosaics. The thing got pretty interesting soon. Anyway, I took another (bigger) set of photos yesterday and was able to make a 8x8 2.0 version:

There is one blurred, and one with my own foot on it, but it's pretty nice I think. I made myself look like a seriously crazy person. Picture a fellow walking down the street and stopping each time a sidewalk change, extend his arm in 90º to the front for three seconds, then walk again. do that 64+ times.

I was lucky enough I didn't end up locked away on a straight jacket. Can you imagine my speech? [i]"Hey no wait I'm not insane i was just taking pictures of the sidewalks around on my neighbourhood for an important project!"

Hey man the sidewalks project is an excellent idea. I like it a lot. I might try doing the same sort of thing.
Hope everything is ok and fun things are happening! Rock on.
